Our Parish Church, Saint Brigid’s is at the heart of Dunleer, as Dromin and Philipstown churches are at the heart of those communities too. As a parish, we try to build community and witness to the values of Christ. Our parish schools are centres of excellence in education and the recently renovated Saint Brigid’s Hall provides a place for social events. Other activities include the usual seasonal liturgies and a monthly magazine, Lann Leire Review
Thankfully our parish finances are healthy despite several renovation programmes over the past number of years. However, we need to plan for the future by securing a healthy weekly income. To those parishioners who contribute regularly, we say thank-you and to those who contribute occasionally or not at all, we ask that you consider a small contribution by weekly envelope or Bank Draft, as a mark of support for your parish and a token of investment in the future. If you already contribute, we ask that you review your donation especially if it has remained at the same level for many years. Boxes of church envelopes are available from the parish office along with bank draft forms.
You can also donate securely to help using a credit/debit card. Simply enter the amount in the box below and click on the Donate via PayPal button. (It is NOT necessary to be a member of PayPal). After clicking on the Donate via Paypal button you will be directed to a secure page where you can fill out your details and follow the easy, step-by-step instructions.
Otherwise, you can send a cheque made payable to Dunleer Parish to the following address:
