The Parish Choir

Our parish choir sings at least twice a month at 11.30am Mass in St. Brigid’s Church under the leadership our organist Mr. Gerard Farrell. The choir also sings at other liturgies throughout the church year.

 The Cara Folk Group

The Cara Folk Group sings regularly at Sunday Mass in St. Brigid’s Church on the first Sunday of each month.  They have been singing together for many years in the parish and at St. Mary’s facility in Drumcar.   

They serve the music ministry of the parish while also seeking to develop the talent of local people and encouraging them to grow through their involvement in music and other social occasions.

Under the direction of Pat Roche, it is made up of men and women and new members are always welcome. Pat can be contacted at 087 2769320.

“Wee Dunleer”

This video was created by members of our community with the support of Creative Ireland and Louth County Council through Creative Ireland. ‘Wee Dunleer’ was composed by Pat Roche who is joined by the local Men’s Shed group, Brendan McCreanor, members of St Brigid’s Parish Choir, and musicians from Scoraíocht Lann Léire.
