St Patrick’s Cathedral, Armagh

Next weekend, Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th September, you will see an envelope in your envelope box in support of the maintenance and repair of St Patrick’s Cathedral, Armagh, our diocesan cathedral.

The Cathedral is at the heart of the life of our Archdiocese, but the cost of maintaining this magnificent building is considerable, averaging over £150,000 each year. Important work is ongoing to preserve the Cathedral and ensure that it remains at the heart of our Archdiocese for generations to come.

As Archbishop Eamon reminds us, “The Cathedral belongs to the whole Archdiocese, and its preservation is a responsibility we share together.”

This is more than simply another collection. It is an opportunity for all of us, as members of the Archdiocese, to play our part in caring for our Cathedral.

If you would like to learn more about fundraising to support our Cathedral or to make a donation directly, please visit https://armaghparish.net/st-patricks-cathedral-fundraising-campaign/

Thank you for your generosity and continued support.
