St Oliver Plunkett 400 Sunday, Drogheda, 6 July
The main event in the Archdiocese of Armagh to mark the 400th Anniversary of the Birth of St Oliver Plunkett, martyred Archbishop of Armagh, will take place in Drogheda on Sunday, 6 July. Procession of Relics from Holy Family Church, Ballsgrove (A92 P263) at 3.00pm. Mass at 4.00pm in St Peter’s Church, West St (A92 A068) which houses the relic of the head of St Oliver.
Celebrant and Preacher: Archbishop Eamon Martin, DD, 23rd Successor to St Oliver in the See of Armagh. Visiting bishops and other dignitaries will also be in attendance. All welcome to attend.
